Our Call: To Love regardless of the past, present or future. To show no regard for status, stature or social significance. Regardless of what you have, where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or who you are…you are important to God and you are important to us.
Our job: To point to, The Way, The Truth and The Life. Help young people gain the tools they need to attain their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To present the Word of God as God intended, that all might come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Our Heart: Jesus loves all of us... pink, tan, beige, black, white, short, tall, thin or fat, we are all His…He created us and the world around us to sustain us, He loved us enough to die and rise again that we might have eternal life, He loves us enough to present us whole, pure and righteous to the Father. We are to love Him with all our heart, mind, soul, body and spirit (lock, stock and barrel) and our neighbors as ourselves. The bible says All have fallen short of the glory of God, we are in this together, together we will enter into His presence, together we will stand before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and together we will enter through His gates.

4runners Ministry Team Bio's:
Maggie Taylor has been a youth leader at Toledo Foursquare Church for the past 16 years. She started out being a substitute Jr. High Sunday School teacher and one Sunday morning took the class out for Ice cream and the Jr. High youth ministry was born. Over the course of time the Jr. High and High school youth groups were combined to form one group and Maggie was made director of youth ministry. She believes that serving the youth without at doubt, the greatest and most rewarding opportunity of her life.
Maggie is 52 years old, has been married to her husband Michael for 30 years as of December 2009, they have two children and two grandchildren. Maggie is Bi-vocational and also works for the Lincoln County School district with Jr. High and high school students. God has given her the responsibility to point young people to Him, to love them no matter what and to teach them to trust Him with their whole lives by living her life accordingly. This is a responsibility she takes very seriously. This is not just something she does, youth ministry is a heart passion.

Mike and Tia Retherford are volunteer Youth Leaders, they have been serving 4runners youth for the past 3 years. They are a young adult couple who have attended Toledo Foursquare Church for the past 15 years. They have servants hearts that are not only directed towards the youth of our church but also those in our community. They have been married 10 years, have three children Mikayla, Ashton and Faith. Mike is a Commercial Fisherman by trade and Tia is a Fishermen’s wife, in addition they both volunteer to support youth sports programs in the community. They are living examples of Jesus’ love to others. For them being a Christian is not a title but a way of life. We are blessed to have them on our Youth Ministry team.

Kaitlyn Brown is 16 years old, she is our Newsletter Editor, she designs and writes the articles for the 4runners monthly news letter. She is a gifted young woman of God. She has a servants heart, hands and feet. Kaitlyn volunteers as a Sunday School helper, Church event Babysitter, and waitress’s for our Mocha Java Café ~ Sunday Morning Coffee & Continental Breakfast Ministry.
